Pete Murray
From the cold of the Arctic Circle to the heat of the desert, my Royal Air Force career took me all over the world, often to hostile environments, each location with its own steep learning curve. This flexibility and ability to cope under pressure has stood me in good stead for the last 18 years of working in live outside broadcasts.
I have worked on high profile events such as the Olympics Games, Paralympics, MotoGP, Speedway GP, Saudi Cup, Royal Ascot, British Touring Car Championship, and the British Superbike Championship.
I am fully qualified with the CAA as a commercial drone pilot with GVC and A2 C of C certifications, I am now qualified to fly commercial drones in the UK and throughout the EU. I am a dual British and Irish passport holder so retain all of my EU working rights, and am based in Cambridgeshire in the UK.
